Several weeks ago, a few of my closest friends graduated with a Master’s in Design and Internet Web Project Direction from ELISAVA. They are all great designers and have taught me so much. However, did these marvelous people become illustrators, graphic designers, user experience researchers overnight? No. It took them time, dedication and I imagine, plenty of long sleepless nights.

Whether you are attending an industry-related conference on behalf of a client or for your own personal benefit, these events are great opportunities to learn the latest trends, network and provide a nice break from the daily grind at work. As they try to seek more attendees, social media is becoming a key component to any successful conference.
Internships are a part of just about every college student’s life. Sometimes you like them; sometimes you don’t. Regardless of how you feel about them, internships are they to help you gain experience in your particular field of study. After completing two or three, you may start envisioning what the “perfect internship” might look like.

When I was little, the sky was the limit. I could invent whatever I wanted and my parents would always encourage me to keep on creating. I was one of those kids who liked to color outside the lines and had a great sense of imagination. I also believed that I would someday be able to fly just like Superman.
