Twitter tightens its wings

Next time you think about sending out a tweet that is identical to one that you just sent out several hours ago, you may want to reconsider. Twitter, which was far more lax about duplicate tweets in the past, is now putting its foot down.

Internships are a part of just about every college student’s life. Sometimes you like them; sometimes you don’t. Regardless of how you feel about them, internships are they to help you gain experience in your particular field of study. After completing two or three, you may start envisioning what the “perfect internship” might look like. 

Three Lessons I Learned from David Archuleta

I love my internship. I help manage seven Facebook pages for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. My responsibilities include, but are not limited to, creating and curating content, promoting department-wide campaigns and spearheading digital initiatives for the four magazines of the Church. One recent highlight from my job was that I had the opportunity to meet former American Idol, David Archuleta. 

Seize Your Summer

Before we know it, summer will be over. The nice, warm sunny days will quickly be replaced with clouds and rain. We have really two options (a) we can either complain about how it is already July or (b) take advantage of every minute that summer has to offer. I choose the latter.

Bring Creativity Back

When I was little, the sky was the limit. I could invent whatever I wanted and my parents would always encourage me to keep on creating. I was one of those kids who liked to color outside the lines and had a great sense of imagination. I also believed that I would someday be able to fly just like Superman.

Choose Your Three Things

My dear friend Paige Weber shared with me a valuable piece of advice about a month ago. It wasn’t anything foreign to me, it was just that it had never come across my mind before. Like the adage, “Keep it Simple Stupid”, Weber’s advice was similar.
