By now, people are already familiar with the # symbol on Facebook, Instagram, Google+ post and most commonly, Twitter. I have quickly learned that just because many people have seen hashtags, doesn’t automatically mean they know how to use them.

It’s Tuesday night and you’re surfing the Web. You hit up Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn and other social media platforms. After a while, you realize that there’s probably something more productive that you could be doing with your time. You’re right. PRSSA National holds at least one Twitter chat every month and they are typically held on Tuesday evenings.

Next time you think about sending out a tweet that is identical to one that you just sent out several hours ago, you may want to reconsider. Twitter, which was far more lax about duplicate tweets in the past, is now putting its foot down.
Internships are a part of just about every college student’s life. Sometimes you like them; sometimes you don’t. Regardless of how you feel about them, internships are they to help you gain experience in your particular field of study. After completing two or three, you may start envisioning what the “perfect internship” might look like.
